Problems sleeping?

From time to time most of us experience disturbed sleep and for the majority the sleep pattern returns naturally after a short period.  For some however, the problem becomes chronic and is often diagnosed as insomnia.  The usual advice of keeping to a regular bedtime, warm drink and bath, turning off the TV etc sometimes doesn't appear to help and often sleeping tablets are prescribed for short term use.  So how can we help ourselves and assist a longer term solution more naturally?  Both Clinical Hypnotherapy and Reflexology can really help!  Myself, Sally Kalmus and Pamela Morgan can help you to look at how you process your thoughts and work to help re establish the sleep pattern so that sleep becomes an automatic occurance again rather than a negative focus of attention.  Reflexology can help by correcting imbalances in the body and releasing stress and tension.  The 'time out' is hugely important to the process of reminding the body that it really is ok to sleep.  Many patients will sleep during a Reflexology appointment!  The teaching of self hypnosis gives patients the opportunity to feel more in control of their sleep pattern and is an invaluable part of the treatment.

So if YOU have been tossing and turning and telling yourself "I must sleep" thus reinforcing the problem then do give us a call and we will be glad to help!
